Stayed for 2 nights at the end of June. The hospitality was amazing and stayed consistent throughout the stay. Everyone knows the Scots love their banter and the staff was friendly and happy to chat with me as I was travelling alone. There's amazing paths through farmlands, gardens, and along the water in a quiet atmosphere. The bar and restaurant menu is great with locally sourced food that tasted excellent (have the pan-seared salmon!). Great water pressure in the shower (you don't realize how important it is until you don't have it) and comfortable bed. Worth the price you pay!

Stayed here on the 21st June with my husband and 2 friends, and what a wonderful time we had. We booked this through a voucher we had as the cost suited our pocket all being senior citizens who were looking for a little break they could afford, and boy did we enjoy ourselves. What a great hotel that we were not aware of. From the time we walked in the door we received such a warm welcome and this continued all through our overnight stay. What can I say well the rooms are lovely and very comfortable with everything you need provided. The food is excellent. The staff are marvellous and they have a really well stocked bar. The whole place is so homely and has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, There is not one negative thing we could say about our stay except we had to leave, so we do hope it won't be too long until we get the chance of another voucher as we would truly love a return to this lovely friendly hotel. Well done to all in the Uplawmoor.

Stayed here with my boyfriend as part of a find on myhotelbreak.com , lovely wee hotel , rooms pleasant , well decorated , the restaurant and bar areas were very cosy and relaxing. Food was lovely and surprisingly not pub grub quality. Good value for money . Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed here just recently for 2 nights, and was made to feel welcome. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable.(Extra bedding available if required.) I ate here both nights and found the food to be to my liking while the service was excellent. Staff were great and served your drinks at the table.

I requested, in advance, Lorne Sausage for breakfast and the management obliged while the fresh bread, baked I was told on the premises, was a bonus. Had to leave early on Saturday, so special thanks to Yvonne for the early piece and Sausage to send me on my way. I would certainly stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it to others.
